Clint Reilly has spent a lifetime actively involved in the democratic political system. Since 1999, he fought to preserve newspapers and promote news media competition in the San Francisco Bay Area. Reilly strongly believes that a competitive press is necessary for preserving a democratic way of life.
Reilly was one of the nation's leading political consultants for 20 years, gaining first-hand knowledge of the role of the news media in effecting the balance of power. He then in 1995 turned to a career in real estate, the success of which has allowed him to continue his involvement in politics and public service as a volunteer. Two of Clint Reilly's several public service initiatives include the landmark newspaper anti-trust lawsuits of 2000 and 2007 (Reilly v. Hearst and Reilly v. MediaNews, et. al.) which helped to protect Bay Area newspapers and newspaper competition. (more...)
